Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?

I encourage all Christians to not waste their money by going to see the Noah movie. Its openly blasphemous, politically driven, and purposefully ignores the true message behind the story of the flood in Genesis. If you do wish to see it then wait a few months then rent it from red box for a dollar. Again don’t give these people who make a mockery of your beliefs your money just because they do a Christian themed movie. And as Christians you ought to be outraged and vocal. The Muslims would not stand for such impudence and complete lack of disrespect for their faith. There’s a reason he made a movie called Noah and not Muhammad. All this does is confuse lukewarm Christians and create the idea that these stories are myths (which they aren’t) which can be interpreted however which way you please.
We must not interpret God’s unconditional love as approval of our behavior.

A Christian society is not going to arrive until most of us really want it: and we are not going to want it until we become fully Christian. I may repeat “Do as you would be done by” till I am black in the face, but I cannot really carry it out till I love my neighbour as myself: and I cannot learn to love my neighbour as myself till I learn to love God: and I cannot learn to love God except by learning to obey Him. And so, as I warned you, we are driven on to something more inward – driven on from social matters to religious matters
The terrible thing, the almost impossible thing, is to hand over your whole self–all your wishes and precautions–to Christ. But it is far easier than what we are all trying to do instead. For what we are trying to do is to remain what we call “ourselves,” to keep personal happiness as our great aim in life, and yet at the same time be “good.”
For you will certainly carry out God’s purpose, however you act, but it makes a difference to you whether you serve like Judas or like John.
audiens sapiens sapientior erit et intellegens gubernacula possidebit (A wise man shall hear, and shall be wiser: and he that understandeth shall possess governments.)
Is a faith that is never challenged truly faithful? Is a faith that cannot stand up against arguments a worthwhile faith?
When I lay these questions before God I get no answer. But a rather special sort of ‘No answer.’ It is not the locked door. It is more like a silent, certainly not uncompassionate, gaze. As though He shook His head not in refusal but waiving the question. Like, ‘Peace, child; you don’t understand.
